Just about everyone on campus has heard the rumors that the fourth floor of Ambrose Hall is haunted. Tomes of sauced students have made the late night excursion all the way up the top of the staircase (with no small difficulty) in the hopes of coming face to face with the ghost of Ambrose's past.

Most definitely those few, drunken souls whom have wondered the halls of the fourth floor late at night have run into many ghostly happenings. The sound of footsteps or the appearence of strange lights, probably. This, however, does not yield any real evidence towards the existence of any a ghost or haunting, however. Enter IPART.

IPART stands for the Iowa Paranormal Advanced Research Team. IPART is an Iowa based professional Ghost Hunting organization much in the vein of TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) as featured on the Sci-Fi Channel's hit show "Ghost Hunters."

IPART is divided into a number of separate investigation teams spread across Iowa whole take cases from individuals or business who have and/or continue to have strange, seemingly unexplainable experiences in buildings or areas in Iowa.

IPART pride themselves on the professionalism of their investigators and like to make it clear to those interested that they are first and foremost out to disprove and debunk any claims of a hunting by any means possible. This is not a group of weird "sensitives" walking around "sensing" ghostly presences, and yelling out "what was that!" If, however, the body of evidence they gather contains any hard physical evidence of paranormal activity, or a large number of odd, unexplainable happenings, they might get a chance to use the dreaded word "haunted." Ninety-nine percent of the time, however, there is little to no evidence of any sort of paranormal activity in the places they investigate.

Before the members of IPART set a date for one of their extensive, free investigations, they must find out a few things about their potential clients.

I thought this debate was about them, as opposed to featuring them. Whoops.
