Theater students prepare for competition

As most students are coming back to campus, one group of St. Ambrose students is preparing to leave. These students are getting ready to battle it out against some of the most talented students in the area. They have been preparing for months. Through sweat, tears and a lot of drama, each competitor hopes to come out victorious in the competitive sport known as theatre.

Believing in yourself is a vital thing that we often hear in our society. People often give up on their dreams. But one St. Ambrose University student has not. Abbey Curran has always wanted to compete in beauty pageants. Even though people said she couldn't compete in them because she has Cerebral Palsy.

Ethical dilemmas faced in communication field

At Saint Ambrose University in order to graduate, a student is required to take a number of general education courses, including philosophy classes. Of the philosophy classes offered, a popular class is ethics. Ethics can be defined as the rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture, and moral principles, according to dictionary.
